Big Play in a Box
It's time to engage your young child with a monthly subscription box filled with hours of meaningful play!
What is Inside?
-An age appropriate children's book which becomes the whole box theme for the remaining contents
-Materials for 2-3 Art/Craft Projects
-A sensory rich medium to play with or recommendation to make
-A kitchen activity to create together
-1-2 researched toys that have proven to not just end up under the bed!
-Inserts with directions as well as ideas to use with various developmental stages.
How Does it Work?
Each Month there will be a limited availability of themed boxes. We will open the cart on the 1st day of the month and it will remain open until either the box sells out or until the 10th of the month. If boxes run out, you will be directed to go on a waitlist for the next month when supplies will be adjusted per demand needed. Our WAITLIST will be emailed on a regular basis to keep you informed when availability of the next month's box is here.
What is to gain?
-Anticipation for your child (and you) of getting their own mail filled with non-screen activities
-No more spending hours pinning on Pinterest, shopping for supplies and then having excess materials cluttering up your space.
-Learning with your child(ren) how to meet them at their present skill level and with guidance from an experienced OT guide them to their next developmental readiness.
Are there any Risks?
Not at all! Our boxes are non-refundable once delivered. However, if the subscription is not what you were hoping for, you can cancel or skip a month if needed at ANY TIME!
We want to make this a positive experience for you and your child(ren) and will ask for your feedback to make this not only a box of goodies, but a tool to enrich your relationships!
Welcome to our Playtime
We recognize that not all children develop at the same rate! Our general age recommendation for our box is for 3-7 years. However, we feel it is important to reach a child based off of where they are now. We provide activity cards with directions and as well 3 levels of ideas to approach and direct a child in the play that they are "ready" for. Kids thrive when given the "just right challenge"!

- Shipment to occur around the 15th of each month.

My Why:Hi! My name is Connie. I have been an Occupational Therapist for 28+ years. I have sat on this idea for a very long time. It wasn't until the pandemic and "virtual therapy" entered our lives that I felt the drive to make this more than a dream! Children crave meaningful play. Caregivers feel the pressure to do "all the things" to ensure that their child is thriving! But...this often leads to lost time researching, shopping, driving our kids all over and in the end still feeling depleted and frustrated. Big Box of Play takes all the work from you and gives you the opportunity to PLAY with your child! Go and make some memories!
